Commenting on Bennett's recent article on Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, saying his father, Louis Schlösser, studied in Vienna under Seyfried, Salieri, and Mayseder, then under R. Kreutzer and Le Sueur in Paris, explaining how his father got to meet Beethoven, who wrote the canon "Edel sei der Mensch" [WoO 185] for him, mentioning Cherubini, etc.
